While the Burundi people live in fear, their government refuses to take meaningful steps to address the deep and protracted human rights crisis that has engulfed the country. DefendDefenders calls upon the UN Human Rights Council to remind Burundi of its obligation as a Member State and establish responsibility for crimes committed since April 2015.
